I spent more than I should have on this. 
I used to draw a ton of graphite stuff when I first joined dA, and I wanted to get back into it a little.
This was going to be a three part piece, but I got fed up with it after I damaged the paper. I left it to sit alone until the other day, when I added a few clouds out of scrap bristol board to match the background a bit. Originally, I was going to add in a brick like border but then decided against it, because it would look out of place. I'm just glad I was able to hide the damaged section of board.
I'd like to do more graphite stuff in the future, even though I favor using colors more.
It's good to switch it up every once in a while.
Medium: Graphite ranging from 2H to 9B on smooth bristol board.

Fffff this looks AMAZING, I adore the heavy contrast on this the horse's hair looks awesome I love all of the subtle texture you have over the whole piece. So many lovely details as well like on the armour design and the accessories on the horse, it's awesome to see more grey scale stuff from you too
